Dauer 962 LM Winner Le Mans 1994
The Dauer 962 was the first GT1 Sports Car to take the win at Le Mans. The 962 Le Mans was built by Dauer Racing with the support of Porsche, who worked to help them exploit loopholes in the regulations. Even though the 962's were not as competitive against the other entrants, they spent less time in the pits and had a great track record for reliability. Being a test of endurance and reliability, the Dauer 962 took the overall win. After this win by Dauer at Le Mans, the regulatory body known as the ACO attempted to fix the loopholes which allowed the 962 Le Mans to race. This was the final end of the Porsche 962.
This is a fantastic 1:43 scale model of the Dauer 962 Le Mans, produced by Spark Models. If you are a Porsche fan, 962 fan, or a Le Mans fan, this model is perfect for you.
