Winners of the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Porsche 919 had returned to world class sports car racing. The 919 Hybrid was the first prototype car Porsche had built since 2010, the last year the Porsche RS Spyder was raced. The Porsche 919 Hybrid pretty much dominated the 2015 WEC season, with both cars placing first and second for almost six of nine rounds.
